BRAND EXPRESSION | MARKETING
Point Loma Nazarene University needed a modern, reflective brand to claim their position in the higher education market. Their updated brand needed to appeal to both a younger undergrad audience and graduate program audiences, as well as the PLNU board, alumni, and staff. As a design lead on the brand design team, I worked the Director of Brand Design and Creative Director to implement a fresh, innovative brand strategy into a visual brand that captures and honors the legacy, heritage, and academic excellence of PLNU while infusing fresh energy, light, and vibrance into their image. In addition to brand identity, graphic system, and a suite of branded marketing materials, we also developed an “intensity scale” which could be used to flex the brand across its wide berth of audience.
